ram (which is pointless with PT 10) and finally got 10.3.5 or. I want to try some new features and if it´s more reliable and smooth on processing than 8LE, but I´m afraid of the whole fresh install because drivers and updates really fucked up things here before and I lost a lot of time formatting and fixing everything (I use my pc to work every day with several softs and files, so everything goes to hell easily). Just to be clear, I´m not requesting Wz here, just want to know your opinion about being an user during the last year, and if you have a similar set up than me, well better (safer). I tend to be more around here (ASex) and Az posts are from a year ago, so I don´t know if I could get a quicker feedback there than here. So I´m wondering if some of you have a similar set up than I and could give me an advice here. As a PT8 user, I just work with a few RTAS plugs (no AAX issues will come up), some wrapped VSTs I´m used to, and regular stock ones, nothing fancy. Reading all AZ comments, it seems that there´re too much opposite experiences related to versions 10.xx.xx, patches, specific plugins issues, 86/64 OS, ilok stuff. anyway, I use the tool to be able to work with friends living in other cities. Did A LOT of research, changed drivers, reinstalled stuff, changed OS, fresh-reinstalled again, updated. There´re not more updates/fixes for my version since some time ago, and I always had to deal with annoying errors and glitches. I´m running a small setup here, with a legit PT8 LE copy I bought some time ago. I´m here because I want to know your opinion about PT10HD releases on Audioz. Good luck! It will not let me move anything between iloks offline, which you're supposed to be able to do AND it will not save my user name & password no matter how many times I check the little box to do so. Not sure what's going on but this new ilok software is buggy as all get out. I did submit a support ticket earlier so maybe someone made some magic happen in the background but that's hard to believe given that I have not received any email from them and it's sunday after 7pm. I was then able to transfer all the licenses I had wanted from the "available" list onto my new ilok. I quit out of ilok manager, pulled my old ilok, plugged in the new ilok and restarted the ilok manager. Frightening to see your ilok go from 47 licenses to 36 when you're ADDING to it. As soon as I did that, it moved ALL the licenses I had been trying to move onto my new ilok in to the "available" list & off of my old ilok. So I launched the ilok manager with my blue ilok plugged in & transferred the PT10HD demo license on to that. SO as soon as I posted the above, I remembered that I had a PT10HD demo license that I had never activated which would at least get me by until this gets fixed. PT 10 license on the new ilok works fine.Īny help or suggestions? Do I need to do a sync/repair on one or both of these? Can't move my licenses and can't use any of them with PT that are on the old ilok. PT won't recognize my old blue ilok with the new one plugged in. I'll just use PT with both iloks plugged in for now until ilok gets to my support ticket. I tried going to another version of iLok manager that I had hanging around (v 2.1.0 GM (b1047, r22745)) and it behaves the same there. iLok manager says it's doing it & completed, but nothing gets moved. I tried to move some necessary plug-in licenses from one of my old iloks to the new ilok 2. The PT 10/11HD license would only activate on the new ilok 2 so I put it there. I installed the new ilok manager that is one self-contained app with drivers. I also uninstalled the old ilok drivers & ilok manager software.
